松(song)(song)(song)江(jiang)(jiang)(jiang)古称华亭(ting)，别名有(you)(you)云(yun)间、茸城、谷水等，是江(jiang)(jiang)(jiang)山(shan)有(you)(you)名气的鱼米(mi)名镇。唐天宝(bao)2年(nian)(nian)(nian)（751年(nian)(nian)(nian)时间内），置(zhi)华亭(ting)县(xian)。元(yuan)至元(yuan)十四(si)五年(nian)(nian)(nian)（1276♋年(nian)(nian)(nian)）升为华亭(ting)府(fu)，翌年(nian)(nian)(nian)换成松(song)(song)(song)江(jiang)(jiang)(jiang)府(fu)。至清嘉庆2年(nian)(nian)(nian)（1805年(nian)(nian)(nian)）演变史为1府(fu)（松(song)(song)(song)江(jiang)(jiang)(jiang)）、7县(xian)（华亭(ting)、重庆、青浦、娄、奉贤、金山(shan)、南(nan)汇）、1厅（川沙）。民国元(yuan)年(nian)(nian)(nian)（1910年(nian)(n🦋ian)(nian)）废府(fu)，华亭(ting)、娄县(xian)合为同华亭(ting)县(xian)，归四(si)川省(sheng)所辖。民国2年(nian)(nian)(nian)（1916年(nian)(nian)(nian)）改(gai)称松(song)(song)(song)江(jiang)(jiang)(jiang)县(xian)。解(jie)放汽(qi)车后，苏南(nan)行政(zheng)性(xing)署(shu)设(she)松(song)(song)(song)江(jiang)(jiang)(jiang)模块(kuai)。1957年(nian)(nian)(nian)7月(yue)，松(song)(song)(song)江(jiang)(jiang)(jiang)模块(kuai)撤消，改(gai)隶无锡(xi)模块(kuai)。1957年(nian)(nian)(nian)110月(yue)由(you)四(si)川省(sheng)划归重庆市。1997年(nian)(nian)(nian)5月(yue)，云(yun)南(nan)省(sheng)人民政(zheng)府(fu)获准撤县(xian)设(she)区。
Song🐲jiang, once called Huating in ancient times, also known as Yunjian, Rongcheng, and Gushui, is a famous town south of the Yangtze River. In 751 of the Tang Dynasty, Songjiang was named𝓀 Huating County. In 1277 during the Yuan Dynasty, it was named Huating Prefecture, which was changed to Songjiang Prefecture the next year. Then in 1805 in the Qing Dynasty, it was developed into Songjiang Prefecture with Huating, Shanghai, Qingpu, Lou, Fengxian, Jinshan, Nanhui, and Chuansha Counties subject to it. In 1912, when the prefecture was abolished, Huating and Lou were merged into Huating County of Jiangsu Province. In 1914, Huating County was changed to Songjiang County. After liberation, the area became Songjiang Special District. In March 1958, it was merged into Suzhou Special District, and in November, Songjiang became a county of Shanghai. Then in February 1998, the State Council approved Songjiang to be a district.

Songjiang’s water resources come from the Huangpu River, which gets its water from Dianshan Lake, Taihu Lake, and Tianmu Mountain in Zhejiang Province, and then pour✅s into the sea. All the rivers in the area are tidal, the tides rise and fall twice every day and night.

The domestic waste recycling rate reached 45.2%, and the village and unit classification rate reached 95%. The whole process system was improved, and a total of 13 recyclable transfer stations and 391 service points were upgraded. Digital transformation was comprehensively promoted, and the G60 Digital Economy Innovation Industry Demonstration Zone of Songjiang New City was successfully selected as one of the first batches of municipal demonstration zones. The evaluation of urban digital transformation in 2021 ranked third in Shanghai. In 2021, the total number of new and high-tech enterprises in the zone reached 1,041, ranking t🎐hird in Shanghai. The total number of high-tech enterprises in the district reached 2,306, with a year-on-year increase of 31.4%, ranking third in Shanghai. The net increase of high-tech enterprises has quadrupled in five years, reaching 551 in 2021. Eleven sci-tech enterprises were approved by the 2021 Shanghai Sci-tech Little Giant♚ Project (including cultivated enterprises), ranking third in Shanghai. There were 156 small giant enterprises in the district (including cultivated enterprises). In 2020, R&D expenditure amounted to 7.516 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year increase of 10.2% and an investment intensity of 4.59%, 0.27% higher than that of 3.98% in 2019 and 0.42% higher than the average level of Shanghai. Among them, corporate R&D expenditure accounted for 88.6% of the total investment, and corporate R&D status significantly improved. 81 high-tech achievement transformation projects were identified, ranking second in Shanghai. 865 technical contracts were registered, with a transaction value of 19.079 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year increase of 320.2%, ranking third in Shanghai.

In 2021, there were 15 newly built schools in the district, with a total investment of 590 million yuan, an increase of 56.5% over 🐷the previous year. New reform measures such as physical and chemical experiment operation tests for the High School Entrance Examination were solidly promoted, and the results of the High School Entrance Examination remained high. The usage of new curriculums and new teaching materials for senior high school was comprehensively promoted. The construction of the senior high school teaching alliance was pushed ahead. The special control rate of the college entrance examination and the cultural attainment rate was the highest in five years, four students were admitted to Tsinghua University and Peking University.

InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland is innovative design work. It took 12 years to finish the construction of the hotel. This novel hotel follows the natural environment and makes full use of the curved surface of the quarry rock face to hang and build on it. Sheshan National Forest Park is the only natural mountainous forest touring site in Shanghai. The Park covers an area of 267 acres wit🐠h 79.44% of the scenic spot covered by forests. There are 12 hills in the park, stretching their way from the southwest to the northeast, like a string of jade pearls with a total length of 13km, offering Shanghai’s flat land a mountainous view. In June 1993, the former National Ministry of Forestry approved the establishment of Sheshan National Forest Park. In 2001, it was honored as one of the first national 4A-level touring sites. The scenic spots that opened to the public are East Sheshan Hill Park, West Sheshan Hill Park, Tianmashan Hill Park, and Xiaokunshan Hill Park.

Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden is🦂 in Sheshan National Tourist Resort (No.3888 Chenhua Highway). It is created through col꧂laboration between the Shanghai Municipal Government, the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and the State Forestry Administration, which combines scientific research, popular science, and sightseeing purpose. This remarkable 207-hectare botanical garden is the largest one in East China. Chenshan Ancient Site in the garden was announced by Shanghai Municipal Government as a cultural relics protection unit of Shanghai in April 2014. The site was first found in early 2009, covering an area of about 16 hectares. It is preliminarily determined to be an ancient cultural site in the Shang and Zhou dynasties.
The botanical garden consists of four functional areas: the central exhibition area, the plant conservation area, the plant areas on five continents, and the peripheral buffer zone. The exhibition greenhouse covers an area of 12,608 square meters. It consists of Tropical Flower and Fruit Museum, Sand Botany Museum, and Exotic Botany Museum. It is the largest exhibition greenhouse group in Asia. Among them, Sand Botany Museum is the largest indoor sand botany exhibitio꧑n hall in the world. Now Chenshan Botanical Garden is a national 4A-level scenic spot.

Established in 1978, Shanghai Square Pagoda Park covers an area of 182 mu. Its original site was the downtown of Huating during the Tang and Song Dynasties. There are 8 national, municipal, and district unmovable cultural relics in the park, inclu꧟ding Xingshengjiao Temple Pagoda, which was announced as national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council in November 1996; Lanrui Hall, Screen Wall of Engra🍨ved Bricks, Chen Huacheng Memorial Temple, Temple of the Queen of Heaven and Wangxian Bridge were announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014, Stone Statues of Ming Dynasty, Front Hall of Zhang’s Residence were announced as Songjiang district relics protection unit in June 2013.
The entire landscape is centered on the Square Pagoda of Northern Song Dynasty, surrounded by the Wangxian Bridge of Southern Song Dynasty, Screen Wall of Engrav👍ed Bricks of Ming Dynasty, Lanrui Hall, stone carving garden, Temple of the Queen of Heaven, Chen Huacheng Memorial Hall, Helou Veranda, Qichang Corridor and so on. With an area of 76 mu, Shanghai Zuibaichi Park is one of the five ancient gardens in Shanghai. There are two immovable cultural relics in the park, including Zuibaichi, which was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014; Woodcarving Hall, which was announced as Songjiang County Cultural Relics 🐓Protection Unit in July 1985. The predecessor of the garden was Guyang Garden, the residence of Zhu Zhichun, a jinshi (a successful candidate in the highest imperial examinations) in the Song Dynasty. The garden was also a place for Dong Qichang (a famous calligrapher and painter in Ming Dynasty) to drink and write poems. 370 years ago, during the period of Shunzhi of the Qing Dynasty, it was a private villa of Gu Dashen, chief of the Ministry of Works, he rebuilt the garden and changed its name to “Zuibaichi” because he worshipped Bai Juyi (poet of the Tang dynasty). The garden has many pavilions, terraces, and open halls such as Letian Xuan (a small room or veranda with windows) of the Song Dynasty, Simian (four sides) Hall, Yi Fang (a boat-shaped building), Reading Hall of the Ming Dynasty, and Cottage above the Pool, Xuehai Hall, Baocheng Building, Woodcarving Hall of the Qing Dynasty. Art treasures such as stone carvings of Zhao Mengfu's calligraphy authentic works “Visit to the Red Cliff” of Yuan Dynasty and steles of “Portraits of Excellent Talents in Yunjian” of Qing Dynasty are collected in the park. There are countless contemporary calligraphers’ inscribed tablets and couplets hanging in the park. Now the park is rated as a national 4A-level scenic spot.

Guangfulin Site of Ancient Culture is in the north of Songjiang New City, it spans Longyuan Road to the east, Guangfulin Road to the south, Shenjing River to the west, and North Yinze Road to the north. Covering an area of about 850 mu, it is the most abundant and valuable among 29 cultural sites in Shanghai. There are three immovable cultural relics on the site, including Guangfulin Site of Ancient Culture, which was announced as national key cultural relics🐓 protection unit by the State Council in May 2013; Chen Zilong Tomb, which was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in November 1987; Zhiye Bridge, which was announced as Songjiang district cultural relics p🍌rotection point in January 2016.

Guangfulin Country Park is built around the five core elements of “field, water, road, forest, and village”, and is based on the natural ecological landscape of farming. It is composed of farm picking, fruiting scenery, wetland fishing villages, and c💝amping bases. The block is divided into 12 areas, such as a rape flower field, green field trail, forest oxygen bar, Laolaiqing rice field, and leisurely trail in the paddy. Shanghai Pujiang River Source Scenic Spot is the starting point of Shanghai’s mother river, Huangpu River, also known as the “Zero Kilometer of Huangpu River”. The Xietang River and Yuanxiejing Creek, which meander from Jiangsu and Zhejiang, converge here to form a delta-shaped treasure land and flow into Huangpu River through Hengliaojing Creek. At the confluence of♑ the three rivers, the river is vast, the sailboats in the river competing for the current, the nets rising and falling by the river, the reeds on the bund swaying, the pink peaches and green willows setting each other off. These breeds the endless scenery of a water town in the south of the Yangtze River, from which the scenic spot got its name “Pujiang River Source”. The whole scenic spot is divided into two parts: the aboveground part is “Shu-Liu-Li-Yun Pagoda” and “Chunshen Hall”, while the underground part is “Water Culture Exhibition Hall”. Located at No.3000 Shenzhuan Highway in Sheshan Town, also the southwest side of Tianma Entrance and Exit of G1503 Shanghai Ring Expressway, Shanghai Tianma Circuit covers an area of about 230 mu. Inaugurated in 2004, the circuit is an F4 track certified by FIA. Songjiang Museum is a local chronicles museum, where the historical relics in Songjiang are collected, researched, and exhibited. The 2-storey exhibition room covers an area of 1,200 square meters. The basic exhibition of “Treasures Buried in the Sand”, which is divided into 3 portions named “Dawn of Huangpu River”, “Glisten of the Histo🦂rical River” and “Painting Arts”, is on the second floor. The exhibition scientifically shows the cultural relics, which are held in the museum and unearthed in Songjiang, and reflects the achievements during the diffﷺerent periods of social development combined with landscape restoration, lightbox, multimedia, and other auxiliary display methods. The first floor is a temporary exhibition hall, and various special exhibitions are held from time to time. Located on the east and west sides outside the exhibition hall, the Stele Gallery is composed of long corridors and tablet pavilions. The East Stele Gallery displays the historical materials and inscriptions of Songjiang Prefecture during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The West Stele Gallery displays the calligraphic art inscriptions of Zhao Mengfu, Dong Qichang, and Shen Quan.

Sutra Pillar of the Tang Dynasty
松江(jiang)唐经幢(chuang)坐(zuo)落于松江(jiang)中(zhong)山小学的校(xiao)院(yuan)内，1987年(nian)一月被浙(zhe)江(jiang)省(sheng)人民(min)政府公🍨开为湖(hu)北省(sheng)关键性中(zhong)国(guo)文物守护行业。建于唐大(da)中(zhong)第(di)十五年(nian)（859年(nian)），是仅存昆(kun)明最最原始的大(da)理石地面(mian)钢(gang)结构建筑。经幢(chu⭕ang)21级(ji)，高9.3米(mi)，八(ba)棱八(ba)面(mian)，故称为为八(ba)棱碑，熟称“唐经幢(chuang)”，別名“石塔”。
Sutra Pillar of the Tang Dynasty is located at the campus of Zhongshan Primary School, Songjiang. In January 1988, it was announced by the State Council as a national key cultural relics protection unit. Established in 859, the pillar is the oldest ground buil🌞ding in Shanghai. The pillar is built of 21 stone blocks with a height of 9.3 meters. With eꦕight ridges and eight slides, it is also known as the Eight-Ridge Pillar, commonly known as the “Sutra Pillar of the Tang Dynasty”, also known as the “Stone Pillar”.

大(da)仓(cang)(cang)(cang)桥(qiao)建在(zai)永丰(feng)街道办(ban)事处中(zhong)江西路仓(cang)(cang)(cang)桥♛(qiao)弄南(nan)(nan)，201四年4月(yue)被对外公布(bu)为(wei)济南(nan)(nan)市(shi)古(gu)建筑呵护(hu)企业，不是座高10余米(mi)，高跨(kua)度50余米(mi)的(de)五孔弧形(xing)大(da)石(shi)桥(qiao)。桥(qiao)名叫永丰(feng)，因桥(qiao)南(nan)(nan)为(wei)松江府漕(cao)运仓(cang)(cang)(cang)城，故又称大(da)仓(cang)(cang)(cang)桥(qiao)。现为(wei)济南(nan)(nan)各地知名的(de)的(de)北京(jing)在(zai)明(ming)大(da)石(shi)桥(q🌱iao)一种。
Located at Cangqiao Lane South, West Zhongshan Road in Yongfeng Sub-district, Dacang Bridge was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014. The bridge spans 50 meters long and 10 meters high over the river. It was formerly known as Yongfeng Bridge and later named Dacang Bridge for there w♔as Water Transport Warehouse City of Songjiang Prefecture to the south of the bridge. It is one of the famous big stone bridges of the Ming Dynaꩲsty in Shanghai.

松江清(qing)真(zhen)寺隶属于岳阳居委会人行(xing)路(lu)桥居委会缸(gang)甏巷75号，1980年(nian)八(ba)月被(bei)发布文(wen)(wen)章为杭州市文(wen)(wen)物(wu)(wu)保(bao)养机关(guan)单(dan)位保(bao)养机关(guan)单(dan)位，是(shi)杭州中南部(bu)最开始(shi)的伊(yi)斯兰(lan)教(jiao)(jiao)佛教(jiao)(jiao)寺院，建于于元至(zhi)正二十七年(nian)（1342年(nian)—136七年(nian)），初名真(zhen)教(jiao)(jiao)寺。明(ming)朝(chao)清(qing)代朝(chao)代要经过2次装(zhuang)修(xiu)和改造，从而，今天的清(qing)真(zhen)寺即有元代朝(chao)代的建筑装(zhuang)修(xiu)材料(liao)物(wu)(wu)结构(gou)(gou)画风，又有明(ming)朝(chao)清(qing)代几代的建筑装(zhuang)修(xiu)材料(liao)物(wu)(wu)结构(gou)(gou)上(shang)(shang)海苏州特色。整体建筑装(zhuang)修(xiu)🌄材料(liao)物(wu)(wu)结构(gou)(gou)产生太(tai)大的殿、窑殿、穿廊，另(ling)有南、北讲坛，邦(bang)克门等(deng)，各举(ju)窑殿和邦(bang)克门2处最具该寺建筑装(zhuang)修(xiu)材𓃲料(liao)物(wu)(wu)结构(gou)(gou)上(shang)(shang)海苏州特色。
Located at No.75 Gangbeng Alley, Maluqiao Neighborho🍌od Committee in Yueyang Su🅰b-district, Songjiang Mosque was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in August 1980. As one of the oldest mosques in Shanghai, Songjiang Mosque was built during 1341-1368, also named Zhenjiao Mosque. After many renovations and expansions during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the mosque today features the style of construction of the Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties. The main buildings include Central Hall, Kiln Hall, Crossing Corridor, North and South Speech Hall, and Bangke Chamber. Among them, the Kiln Hall and Bangke Chamber can best represent the traits of the Mosque.
西林禅寺
Xilin Temple
西林(lin)禅(shan)寺(si)，全名是(shi)崇恩寺(si)，建(jian)于南宋咸淳(chun)末(mo)年(nian)(nian)（1265—1273年(nian)(nian)）。明洪武(wu)三(san)三(san)年(nian)(nian)（13810年(nian)(nian)）新建(jian)，为于岳(yue)阳社(she)区中山里路(lu)66六(liu)号。明正(zheng)统皇敕封时(shi)赐名“大清西林(lin)禅(shan)寺(si)”。殿内(nei)车门(men)还(hai)有(you)一(yi)(yi)个塔(ta)(ta)，名圆应宝塔(ta)(ta)，称(cheng)为“西林(lin)塔(ta)(ta)”。圆应塔(ta)(ta)（西林(lin)塔(ta)(ta)）1982年(nian)(nian)8月被公开为沪市(shi)藏品保护英(ying)文公司的。塔(ta)(ta)身(shen)七层八面(mian)，砖木🐭构(gou)造，塔(ta)(ta)高(gao)(gao)46.5米，有(you)史以来仍为沪国(guo)家至高(gao)(gao)的一(yi)(yi)尊古塔(ta)(ta)。
Located at No.666 Middle Zhongshan Road in Yueyang Sub-district, Xilin Temple, also known as Chong’en Temple, was originally built during 1265-1274 and reconstructed in 1387. In Ming Dynasty, an emperor named it as Xilin Temple of Ming. Behind the main hall, there stands a 46.5-meter-high, 7-storey octagonal pagoda of brick and wood structure, which is called Yuanying Pagoda, also well-known as 🅺Xilin Pagoda. Announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in September 1982, this pagoda is the tallest ancient pagoda in Shanghai.
